The Mini was produced by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and it's successors from 1959 to 2000. One of the most successful cars of all time, a total of 5,387,862 cars were produced. It was a highly successful design that made a small car feel big. The transverse engine meant that 80% of the floorpan could be used for passengers and luggage.
This particular vehicle was produced in the late 70's and is interesting for 2 particular reasons. Firstly it is an unusual and nice Pickup version of the Mini. Secondly, it's previous owner was H.P.Baxxter of the Techno group Scooter. A car-nut himself, Mr.Scooter had an accident in this car (which was previously black) and decided to sell it. Fortunately the wreck was bought by a local expert who set about restoring and rebuilding the car to the state of perfection that you see it in today. This car is a tribute to this man and can correctly be described as "better than new".
