March 2019 - Spring is here!
Happy to say that spring and some warm sunshine have put in an appearance so busy times back at the Bulldog Motor Collection. The barn has finished a paint-job and makeover, together with a cosy retreat and a re-fitted darts board (I'm not very good at darts, possibly don't drink enough beer?).
The XJS V12 Convertible has returned to the barn after enjoying a year or so in Blighty, complete with fresh MOT. The Aston DB7 went in the other direction, ready for the Goodwood Members meeting on 6th April.
A couple of oldie open sports have been given an airing and the Bulldog team have been installing a sparkly new Paul Matty fuel tank into the Lotus Elan S4 which, after 18 months then started with the first turn of the key.
And finally, the HMC MkIV needed it's biannual TüV (MOT). Happily it passed with no problems. The car is now 21.5 years old (4.8.97) and has completed just 21,633 miles, almost exactly 1,000 miles pa since new. It remains a great joy, all you need is to start the engine, listen to the throaty roar of the mighty V8 and just smile! Going for a drive is also fun :)
