Offered as an affordable, six-cylinder sports car, the first Triumph TR6 rolled off the production line in 1968 as a 1969 model. It's intended target was to rival similar sports cars at the time, and although most were designed with sleek, curved lines, the TR6 was squared off at both ends, making it stand out from it's competitors. With just a seven year production span, the TR6 grew to become a true British classic.
Finished in A Stunning Midnight Blue with Black Leather Interior. This stunning TR6 was originally supplied new in July 1970 by an authorised dealer in California USA. The TR spent the first twenty years in California until it was imported to the UK in December 1990.
The TR has been fully restored over the years and has been fitted with an overdrive conversion in 2011. The car comes with a very impressive service history file dating all the way back to 1990 and has more recently been looked after by marque specialist Protek Engineering of Wallingford.
Some of the works completed on the car over the years consist of 150HP camshaft, uprated drive shafts, stainless steel exhaust system, High Torque starter motor, x4 new tyres, Dynax S50 anti corrosion wax and a Full bare metal respray.
